Nov. 3rd, 2009 11:07 pmAh, the human body. Heir to a thousand annoyances. From angular chelitis to that way the littlest toenail always snags on stockings, people's bodies have all kinds of tiny, habitual annoyances. Which ones plague your character?
Not everyone was born with a Charter Mark. Mine didn't develop until I started living in the Old Kingdom and learning Abhorsen-y things. So I can still feel it there sometimes, and it itches. Well, not really itches, but... it's a weird sensation, like this tingly knowledge that it's there, and what it means. It reminds me of how everything's changed.
On top of that, the place where I got run through with a sword by Kerrigor. I know it got healed up by a cleric, didn't leave a mark, that kind of thing. Doesn't matter. It killed me. It left a mark, whether it was actually physical or not. It always feels cold to the touch, though maybe I'm just making that up.
